Our mission is to provide dynamic, state of the art sports and life skills enrichment programs designed to train and strengthen the mind, body and soul of the competitive athlete and prepare them for the most advanced level of play on the court, field, and in life.
Philosophy:
“DIBIA” is an Igbo (West African Dialect) term meaning “Master of knowledge/wisdom.” The term refers to traditional healers, experts and doctors. The process of becoming a DIBIA involves years of training and many levels of initiation. DIBIA means TRAIN TO BE GREAT!
About DIBIA:
DIBIA Athletic Development is a Miami-based company established in 2011. DIBIA transforms clients into athletes through two mediums; Sports Training and the DREAM Enrichment program. DIBIA trains clients of all ages with varying levels of athleticism that live in the continental U.S. as well as the Caribbean, granting DIBIA an international presence that is unlike that of any other sports training agency in the world.
DIBIA provides elite sports training for athletes to develop fundamental skills through detailed analysis of individual skills, innovative drills and dynamic instruction. Our intense training program is designed for boys and girls, ranging from age 7 to professional athletes. DIBIA trains athletes worldwide and hosts camps/clinics in Miami, New Orleans, LA, Bermuda, Bahamas, Latin America* and Nigeria*.

Founder
Selfless, determined, disciplined, and ambitious are all words that aptly describe the Founder and CEO of DIBIA Athletic Development, Brandon Azuka Dibia Okpalobi. During his time in Miami, Brandon has made significant contributions to the local community, through business and community service. More impressive than his accomplishments on paper are his wonderful character traits. He has selflessly taken an active role in motivating today’s youth through both actions and words to live their best life, and be their best selves, while honoring God.
Brandon, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, moved to Miami, Florida in 2000 to pursue higher education and athletic endeavors at the University of Miami. After walking-on to the Division 1 basketball team, Brandon determined and fearless, earned a full scholarship and was elected team captain his senior year. Upon graduation, Brandon combined his business-savvy and passion for sports to develop DIBIA Athletic Development. Brandon definitely adheres to the mantra of hard work pays off. Brandon has also worked for major corporations such as the Orange Bowl Committee, Deloitte & Touche LLP, The Miami Heat and the University of Miami.
He leaves a lasting impression on those with whom he comes in contact with. Brandon devotes his time to organizations such as 100 Black Men, Leadership Miami, Beacon Council New Leadership Taskforce, and is the past President of the Young Professional Network (YPN) Miami.
The mantra, “To lead is to serve” very well describes Brandon as he routinely proves his effective leadership ability through community service and training.
