INDIVIDUAL TRAINING

DIBIA Athletic Development individual training sessions are designed to teach each athlete the fundamentals of basketball. These fundamentals are sharpened through continual practice and application. Each session may be taken multiple times to increase the individual player’s skill.

Individual Training Session: Athletes looking to get 1 on 1 attention will work on all aspects of basketball fundamentals during this training. This session focuses on comprehensive skills that cover defense, ball handling, shooting, passing and footwork.

  • Elite: For athletes who are looking to take their game to the next level. Elite is designed to be an intense training that enhances your strengths and turn your weaknesses in to strengths.
  • Shot-Class: Focuses on the mechanics of shooting including hand placement, footwork, technique, and getting your shot off quicker.
  • Dribble Series: Combines dribbling, passing, and moving drills to improve coordination and develop ball-handling skills.
  • Attack: Focuses on ways to contribute to your team scoring. Includes a focus on layups, mid range jump shots, using screens, free throws and 3-point shots.
  • DIBIA Strong: Athletes will go through intense physical workouts that focus on speed/agility/core strength/lateral speed/ etc.
  • Breakfast Club: Athletes who desire to work before everyone else will take this session. Breakfast Club starts at 6am and is an intense total basketball workout for an hour focusing on offensive footwork, movement, defense and ball control.

Please Note: These rates do NOT include gym membership fees and are paid in advance of the training session. 24 hour cancellation notice is required, otherwise you will be charged for that session.

GROUP TRAINING

DIBIA Athletic Development Group/Team training sessions focus on the fundamental skills necessary for athletes to improve their game. Each training session will feature fundamental drills that focus on physical conditioning, ball-handling, shooting, offensive and defensive footwork, individual offensive moves and structured team play. Also these sessions are structured to enhance the skills of the athletes as a team to help them play together; increase mental toughness develops chemistry, and competitiveness.

*4 or more athletes are considered a group/team.

Elite: For athletes who are looking to take their game to the next level. Elite is designed to be an intense training that enhances your strengths.

ALBERT CAGER

Coach Cager currently serves as Head Varsity Basketball Coach at ­­­­­­­­­Anna High School located in Anna, Texas. His passion to see kids succeed and use sports as a tool to achieve that success truly comes out in his training sessions. His love for the game of basketball and being able to teach youth the essential skills of the game is why he chose to coach. Basketball has given him the opportunity to plant seeds and prepare youth for the real world. Helping kids to see the big picture and making them realize their full potential is something he is very passionate about.

Teaching these kids life lesson through the game of basketball is top priority. As a coach, he emphasizes the importance of fundamentals and helping youth understand why fundamentals and preparation are keys to success.
